Di Fara Pizza in Midwood
If you have 5 hours to kill, Di Fara Pizza is absolutely worth it. 1 hour to get to Midwood, 3 hours to wait, and 1 hour to return. Domenico DeMarco makes each pie by hand 1 by 1, in order of who he looked at on line (the line, by the way, which looks like the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on casual Friday). When it comes out he sprinkles on imported Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese and slices basil over the top. The picture was taken with the iPhone so it hardly shows it off.
